The “Prejudices and reality” project has been organised within the Erasmus+ educational project and it aims to tear down the prejudices people have about 5 countries: Germany, Portugal, Lithuania, Italy and Romania, but also to encourage the understanding of the aforementioned countries’ culture.

In order to achieve these goals, it has been arranged that 5 meetings  take place between 2014 and 2016. Each one  happens in a country, following the schedule:

The meetings:

  • 11-14 December 2014 + 6-12 December 2015 in Germany

  • 22-28 February 2015 + May 2016 in Portugal

  • 17-24 May 2015 + 20-25 September 2015 in Lithuania

  • 18-24 October 2015 in Italy

Other goals of the Erasmus system are: the consolidation of the European identity, information and education for tolerance, cooperation and a deeper sense of comunity within the European Union.

The activities to be conducted consist of visits, observation, research, documentation, contrasting (prejudice vs. reality). These are to be done through workshops, shows and the interaction between fellow participants. The products of the project involve an online magazine (this online magazine), a tv show, a website, a radio programme and multiple shows, presented during the meetings.
